A long family tradition
The tradition of the company Amelio Livio has been handed down for several generations.
There are no definite dates for the beginning of this activity, but for sure the initiator was the grandfather Giuseppe; over the years, Carlo –his son- continued the production and handed it over to his son Livio.
The passion for grapes and wine has thus been passed down from father to son to this day. Today, Livio, with the help of his wife Marisa and his three daughters, Sara, Daniela and Arianna, continues his work, utilizing modern technology while fully respecting the tradition and constant pursuit of quality.
The production has certainly begun with a vineyard of Barbera grapes and the varieties of wines have increased with the continuation of the family; up to today we can count on a production of many D.O.C. and D.O.C.G.-labelled wines. Here a quick list: Barbera d'Asti, Barbera d'Asti Superiore, Barbera del Monferrato, Grignolino d'Asti, Freisa d'Asti, Monferrato Dolcetto, Ruchè of Castagnole Monferrato, Piedmont Cortese, "Trevipere" rose wine.
Today, the company has a welcoming shop where the customer can buy the most suitable wine for his / her needs, with the guarantee of always having a genuine, high quality wine at a fair price.
